Hon. Terry ‘Tuck’ Waldron
Chair
Raised in the agricultural town of Jingalup, Tuck is a former Nationals WA Minister, representing the electorate of Wagin from 2001 until his retirement in 2017.
Tuck was an avid footballer and cricketer, playing in both the Western Australian National Football League, and the South Australian National Football League. He worked in real estate and as the general manager of the West Australian Country Football League prior to entering politics.
He is currently Chair of Western Australian Cricket Association, Regional Development Australian – Wheatbelt, and the Central East Aged Care Alliance.
Mrs Liane Papaelias

Liane is a qualified accountant, a Fellow of CPA Australia and has many years of experience in senior executive roles and as a non-executive company director in the not-for-profit sector. She is currently the CFO at Wanslea Family Services and non-executive director for four not-for-profit organisations in health and education, including Rural Health Workforce Australia and Rural Health West.
Previous appointments in Senior Executive roles include twelve years as CFO at the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (Western Operations), Management Accountant at Murdoch University and Director of Finance and Administration at Perth College.
Liane first worked in Government and as a consultant with two of the large Chartered Accounting firms, before taking on her first management role in the not-for-profit sector where she has now gained over 25 years of rich and rewarding experience.
Dr Andrew Kirke

Andrew is the Director of The Rural Clinical School of Western Australia (RCSWA).
Andrew has been a rural GP for the past twenty years practising a range of disciplines including Family Medicine, Obstetrics, Anaesthetics and Emergency Medicine.
He is currently working fulltime for the University of Western Australia running the RCSWA student program.
In the past he has been on the Board of the Goldfields Division of General Practice, The Rural Doctors Association of Australia and president of the Rural Doctors Association of WA.
Andrew is involved in several research projects in rural health.
Ms Cathy Bolt 
Cathy’s background is in media, communications and stakeholder engagement, holding senior corporate affairs roles at two of Western Australia’s largest companies, CBH Group and more recently Wesfarmers Limited, where she was Media and External Affairs Manager for eight years until retiring in mid-2021.
These roles included responsibility for the provision of strategic communications advice, issues management, media relations, industry relations and community engagement activities.
Prior to that, the majority of Cathy’s career has been in journalism, including 14 years with the Australian Financial Review in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth and four years at The West Australian as a senior business writer.
She began her journalism career as a cadet on rural weekly Western Farmer & Grazier after completing an Associate Diploma in Farm Management at Muresk Agricultural College in Northam.
Adjunct Associate Professor Karen Bradley

Karen is an experienced health care executive and non-executive Director with more than 30 years experience in the public and not for profit health sectors in Western Australia.
Her previous appointments include Executive Director Clinical Leadership and Reform and Chief Nurse and Midwifery Officer with the Department of Health, executive Nursing and Midwifery leadership roles with the South Metropolitan Health Service and WA Country Health Service. Most recently Karen led the Health Operations team in the State Health Incident Coordination Centre as part of the state’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Nursing from Edith Cowan University and a Masters in Leadership (Social Justice) from The University of Notre Dame Australia.
Karen is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Service Management, Vice President and Branch Councillor with the WA Chapter, a member of the Australian College of Nursing and a Graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Dr Stephanie Trust

Stephanie is a Kidja/ Walmajarri woman, born and raised in the East Kimberley. She initially trained as an enrolled nurse, before converting this to an Aboriginal Health Worker qualification and working in the Kimberley and Pilbara regions for around 12 years. In 2000, Stephanie travelled to Perth to fulfil her lifelong dream of becoming a doctor.
Stephanie is a Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is a champion for rural, remote and Aboriginal health.
She has previously served on the Board of the East Metropolitan Health Service, Australian Indigenous Doctors’ Association, Kimberley Stolen Generation Aboriginal Corporation and WAPHA’s Kimberley regional commissioning committee.
Stephanie is a clinical supervisor and previous Cultural Mentor and Advisor for Western Australian General Practice Education and Training Ltd, and was formerly the Medical Director at Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services Council in Broome.
Cr Liz Guidera 
Liz has long been a champion of rural communities. She has served on the Shire of Katanning council for 14 years, becoming Shire President in 2015.
Liz was also an inaugural reference group member and former Chair of the Rural Remote and Regional Women’s Network of WA (RRR Network).
Liz has served on the Board of Regional Development Australia Great Southern and is a current board member of the Great Southern Development Commission.
Mr David Rigby

As Owner and Principal Physiotherapist of Pilbara Physiotherapy and Pilbara Therapy Services, David Rigby oversees a highly driven team that provides allied health services to the greater Pilbara region.
David established the business in 2014 after seeing a need for quality healthcare in the region.
Under David’s leadership, Pilbara Physiotherapy and Pilbara Therapy Services have become multidisciplinary businesses servicing many areas of the Pilbara through funded programs focusing on prevention and self-management of chronic diseases, indigenous health, NDIS services and Occupational Therapy services across the lifespan, in addition to private services encompassing pain and disease management.
David also represents the private allied health sector on the Regional Clinical Committee.
