This workshop is run in partnership with the Clinical Training and Evaluation Centre (CTEC)
The Cutting Edge: Proceduralist Obstetrics and Gynaecological Skills is a hands-on skills training workshop utilising simulation models. This workshop is designed to assist GP Proceduralists and GP Obstetricians in attaining an improved level of confidence in gynaecological and obstetric procedures. Limited places are also available for KEMH Registrars in Gynaecological Surgery.
It will also feature debates, discussions and presentations on current gynaecological topics and devices.
Workshop participants will return to their practice with newly acquired knowledge and the confidence to perform procedures practised under supervision in a realistic setting. It does not provide certification of competence in any of the procedures outlined and practised.
